Common Questions
What's the fishing season?
Central Patagonia's season runs November through April: the Southern Hemisphere's spring through fall. Most of our partner lodges' 2026/27 season runs Oct 31, 2026 – Apr 17, 2027, with a 15% shoulder-season discount, Oct 31 – Dec 5 & Mar 27 – Apr 17 (book directly with the lodge).
How do I get there?
Fly into Esquel Airport (EQS) or Bariloche Airport (BRC), Argentina, depending on your lodge. Most guests arrive on a Saturday. Our travel team facilitates all ground transfers and logistics from there, included in your package.
Do I need to be an experienced angler?
Not at all. Our guides work with anglers of every skill level, from first-time casters to seasoned veterans, and every stay includes fly casting lessons on arrival day.
Can non-anglers enjoy the trip?
Yes. Non-angling guests join at a separate nightly rate and enjoy the same rooms, meals, and lodge amenities. Several of our partner lodges also offer spa facilities, rec rooms, and outdoor fire pits.
Which lodge is right for me?
Each of our five partner lodges has its own character and water. Explore all five, or send us an inquiry and we'll help you choose based on your dates and priorities.
