Shared Waters We Fish

Small Stream · Named for Caridad's original site · Rainbow and brown trout

A small wade-fishing stream carrying the same name Caridad was long known by ("The Lodge @ Tecka").

Rio Tecka, also known as the Rio Gualjaina, is a small stream running through the open steppe: miles of uninterrupted wade fishing with a light rod and dry flies. It's not a river you float; it's one you walk, covering water and looking for rising fish. Rainbows and browns both hold here, and the fishing rewards patience and a good eye more than distance covered.
