The Arrayanes connects Lago Verde and Lago Futalaufquen over a slow, deep four-mile run, named for the orange-barked arrayán trees along its banks. It fishes best early season (November–January), with rainbows cruising just under the surface for a well-placed dry fly, and browns holding deeper for streamers on a sink-tip line. The takes can come from surprisingly far off: watch for fish moving a long way to eat.
