Our Story
A Family Refuge
Three brothers and a cousin, all born and raised in this part of Patagonia, run the lodge on the banks of the Carrileufú River, just outside Los Alerces National Park. Five double rooms open onto a great room built around a wood-burning fireplace, with armchairs for trading stories after the river and a corner set aside for tying flies. Dinners lean on the lodge's own organic garden and a well-chosen list of Argentine wine. This is the same country where Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid settled for a few quiet years; their cabin still stands nearby.
